By accessing exchange.et, registering an account, requesting an API key, or using our embed widgets, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

All exchange rates, comparisons, and other content on exchange.et are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and they are not an offer to buy or sell any currency, security, or instrument. Decisions you make based on this content are your own responsibility. Always confirm current rates and terms with the relevant bank or provider.

exchange.et is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Rates may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keydama Software and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of exchange.et or reliance on its content.

The exchange.et name, logo, software, and original content are the property of Keydama Software and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data; scrape, resell, or redistribute rate data in violation of the API terms; or interfere with the operation of the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to register an account or request an API key. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Some provider links on exchange.et are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you use them; this does not affect the rate you are quoted.

API access is subject to the developer terms: you must use the API in accordance with its documentation and acceptable-use policy; the data is licensed for your use, not resale, unless otherwise agreed; and we may throttle, suspend, or revoke an API key at any time for abuse, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.

Embed widgets may be placed on your website free of charge provided you do not modify the widget's branding or data attribution, do not misrepresent the data as your own, and do not use the widget on unlawful or deceptive sites. We may change or discontinue widgets at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ethiopia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Paid plans (Pro and Growth) are one-time 365-day access grants, billed in ETB. The USD figure shown on the pricing page is approximate and derived from a reference rate, not a separately-priced USD amount. Enterprise is a custom, annually-billed plan. Payments are processed by Chapa. Because paid access is a one-time grant with no auto-charge (we email a renewal reminder before expiry), we do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds. If you were charged in error or a payment fails to settle, contact us at support@keydama.com and we will resolve it with Chapa. Refunds for unauthorized or duplicate charges are handled through Chapa chargeback, in accordance with the payment provider terms.
